This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.

I have had two occasions to use Precision for my garage door needs. The first was 4 years ago when my old garage door decide come off the track. Precision came out and in a very short time replaced the door and it has operated very well since. Precision showed up on time unlike a competitor of theirs (Overhead Door of Portland) who the day before was to be at my home at 2:00 but showed up at 3:00, when I had a doctors appointment at 3:30. I did not allow Overhead to do any work.

Precision's service was great at $69.95 when Overhead quoted me $225.00 to fix the same problem. And the door is like a new door now after the great job that Precision did.

I will be using precision from now on. Not that other company in town.

Sam Aiello, sales manager, came to our home in an attempt to remedy a small problem that another technician from Precision had been unable to fix during an earlier visit. Just as the first technician had done, Sam tried everything possible. It simply was not possible to address what really amounted to a minor irritation, nothing that impacted on the operation of the door. As he attempted to address the small problem in question, Sam performed a number of other maintenance tasks,all at no charge. I was very impressed with the strong service orientation of both men. I would call Precision Doors again anytime for a garage door problem. The organization serves with the utmost integrity and class.

The springs in our garage door broke late one evening and we could not open the garage door. My car was stuck in the garage so we where in a hurry to get it reparied. I saw the Precision Garage Door service van in our neighborhood the next morning and asked if they could look at our garage. They came over as soon as their job was done and had our garage repaired before lunch! They also inspected our door and opener and replaced the opener as well. Great company eager to provide quality service and customer satisfaction!

Based on my experience I highly recommend this company. Their response was prompt and they were very willing to work with my schedule. Brad arrived at the stated time, diagnosed the problem and presented options with the pros and cons of each choice. Rebuild of the garage door included replacement of springs, cables and rollers and checkout of the whole system. From the initial phone call to completion of the work everything was handled with professionalism and courtesy. This is a company that is a pleasure to work with.

Purchased a set of new wall mount openers in the fall. With the damp weather the wooden doors expanded creating a binding on the new electric eye brackets. Door was hanging up on the bracket. Brad was early for the appointment and proceeded to fix the problem in about 10 minutes by modifying the location of the brackets. Better than the original install and all at NO CHARGE! Thanks!!!

Excellent same day service! Brian came out to do what I thought was a basic spring adjustment. He identified the real problem, bearings and rollers and then gave me the spring adjustment at no charge. So I ended up spending a little more, but got what I think is a much better value.

When our garage door stopped working, we looked in the phone book for a repair company. The words "OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR SERVICE" in the ad for Precision looked like a logo I have seen on repair vehicles around town. The ad also says "No extra charge evenings & weekends," which sounded good because we were calling on a Saturday morning. Precision was able to schedule a technician for the same afternoon. Gary was prompt and professional. He explained the problem with the door (broken spring), assessed the age of the door and the wear on the other parts (rollers, cables, drums) and showed samples of the high-quality parts he had available. He gave us the option of a partial repair or complete replacement of the parts. We chose to replace the springs at this time. But we will keep an eye on the rollers and other parts, and will choose Precision when we are ready to replace them.

What originally began as a repair to our springs and cables, turned into an overhaul of all moving parts to our door and 2 new motors. We had been putting off replacement of our 30 year old single motor/double door application for years. After meeting with Gary on a Sunday morning, we decided to just bite the bullet and finally take on this project and be done with our worries once and for all. We had to purchase the wall mounted LiftMaster motors due to our specific application, but we feel confident our garage door issues are behind us. I just wish new garage door motors were a more glamorous purchase!! We are extremely happy with our decision and recommend Precision for any garage door need.

Someone in my neighborhood recommended Precision to me, I had a crooked garage door and since they are old I had an estimate to replace both of the doors....I called Precision to see if it would be worth it to repair instead of replace...they sent out Tim who was friendly, efficient and encouraging aout repairing the crooked door. I called Precision Garage Door for a problem I was having with my door opener (a Genie, not working) An appt was set and Gary was the tech that responded to my service request. Gary did his diagnosis and discovered that one of the main springs on the door was broken, and that one of my cables had dislodged itself from the spool and was frayed. We discussed my options for repair and replacement, and Gary was very knowledgeable while educating me as well as explainig my options. Ultimately I selected the option of replacing my door opender unit. More improtantly, I want you to know that I was very impressed with Gary
